  Dear Town Clerk, Deputy Town Clerk and City Engineer, End of year wellbeing. Further to our email dated 21 November 2025 hereinbelow to which no response and/or action has been initiated. And further to the amount of cease-and-desist and/or demolition activities undertaken by the Offices of the Town Clerk and the City Engineer against illegal , unauthorized, unlawful and unapproved structures since our last email.   Dear Editor, We, citizens residing in Subryanville, Georgetown repeat our calls for the Central Housing and Planning Authority and the Mayor and City Council to immediately restore Farnum Ground to the community open recreational green space.  We are surprised that since the media report on 19 November, 2025 “CH&PA orders halt to construction of Mae’s School after works were finished – owner – Demerara Waves Online News- Guyana” there has been no further action from the different Government agencies who are responsible for urban planning and use of land. We expect that since the Cease Order is in effect that the CH&PA and M&CC would intervene to not only enforce its laws but to ensure that that people who are responsible for the construction obey the laws. This conclusion of these outstanding business name registration issues demands urgency in both attention and action inter alia. The issues which need to be clarified by the DCRA are quite simple and are as follows: Re: Business Name Registration 240986, the subject matter of an investigation at CID, as well as the document tendered to M&CC as proof of ownership of Mae's Schools by Judy Ann Sugrim and/or David Sugrim and/or their/his/her Attorney/s-at-Law Was this inadvertently or else omitted from the chronological history of Mae's Schools supplied by DCRA hereinunder and attached herewith? Did the DCRA issue this registration in 2024? What is/are the policy and/or rules governing similar business names being registered at the Commercial Registry...

Dear Registrar, Rastafari wellbeing greetings. Please be reminded of the following facts found in email trail hereinunder and reiterated here for pellucidity: During the first week of October 2025, I applied to register the name Mae's Schools and was refused on the basis of an existing Reg No. 257184 valid from February 2025 to February 2026. See my application in the attached photograph. Hereinunder, on the 21 October 2025, I wrote to you to be informed if the name became available so I could register same as my application was first in time, dated 30 September 2025 . Kindly note, by scrolling down the emails hereinunder until 25 September 2025, that the Residents of Subryanville were informed that business registration numbered 240986 in name of Mae's Schools, applicants Judy Ann Sugrim and David Sugrim, was struck of register from its 2024 registration date for lack of renewal, stated as, "I write to inform you that Business Registration Number 240986 was not renewed at the Commercial Registry. Consequently, due to this non-renewal, the business registered under that number as " Mae's Schools " has been officially struck off the Business Names Register."   28 November 2025 he Residents of Subryanville welcome the Cease and Desist Order issued by Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA) on 6 October 2025 to David Sugrim for the unauthorized, unlawful and illegal prefab structures being erected on Farnum’s Playing Field for use as Mae’s Schools. The media reported it on the 19 November 2025, CH&PA orders halt to construction of Mae’s School after works were finished – owner – Demerara Waves Online News- Guyana . The Residents of Subryanville await follow up action, from all the relevant authorities and statutory bodies, inter alia, the issuing and enforcement of a demolition order to remove the unauthorized, unlawful and illegal prefab structures from the Farnum’s Playing Field before 25 December 2025.
