Request for notice of Contravention of Town and Country Planning Act Chapter 20:01, Laws of Guyana
Dear Honourable Minister of Housing & Water CEO, CHPA Board of Directors, CHPA, through appropriate protocol Weekend peacefulness. Further to the 23 September 2025 email hereinunder and the swift erection of the unauthorized prefab building being developed in Farnum's Playing Field, Subryanville, the residents of Subryanville hereby demand the invocation of Town and Country Planning Act Chapter 20:01, Laws of Guyana. The aforesaid ongoing construction of the prefab building of Mae's Schools by the developer is unauthorized by Mayor & City Council (M&CC) and also by the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA). The ongoing construction site as aforesaid is currently being used for the purposes of a nursery and/or primary school in contravention of other compulsory governmental permits/certification.
